Here is the list that we feel represents the top 10 software downloads of all time, or at least the top ten since windows 95 was released.

Of course, we are partial to firefox being on the list, but notice that we do give reverence where reversence is due...ie...it doesn't hold the top spot. But anyways, these programs we feel just as much have either changed the face of the internet, software useage, or was a pioneering program that really has helped people the world over. 1. ICQ (I Seek You) This has to be the pivot software that took the diaspora of the internet, and brought us all together.

2. Macromedia Flash You had to download it in the early days until 4.0 of I.E. and Netscape. It really made surfing fun.

3. Mozilla Firefox (see we told you so) This may get moved up a spot (or two :) ) in the future.

4. Napster The nefarious napster, it belongs on this list because it definately changed the landscape of the internet

5. Adobe Acrobat Reader If you do any amount of work using the internet, you will have to have this program

6. WinZip The best time saving software ever. This software compresses files to make the software downloads faster

7. Skype Although we don't use skype, we do recognize the power of its usefulness.

8. Netscape Navigator If software had ancestry, this would be Firefoxes grandfather.

9. ITunes...The original LEGAL online music service. (MusicNow and Napster soon follow suite)

10. Quicktime We put this above real player...well, because it's better :) again...you go apple...
